Employee Spotlight: Feeling Rewarded By Helping Others

May 05, 2015

Listening to her father’s advice on which career path to follow has turned out to be very fulfilling for Suburban Imaging’s lead CT technologist, Sara. She has been a friendly and caring face at Suburban Imaging for 11 years. “My favorite part of working as a CT technologist is it feels rewarding. We are taking care of people at a time in their lives that can be challenging and frightening. I feel useful and often grateful for the experiences I have here,” Sara explained.

With that outlook on patient care, Sara has received endless compliments and thank-yous from patients:

"I am always nervous coming in to get my CT scan but everyone there is so welcoming and kind! I have such a good time and forget about what I am there for, of course I need to hold my breath, etc., but the rest of my time there is always so pleasant and cheery. I leave with a big smile on my face!  Just want you to know that I will always tell friends to go there if they need scans. Thanks for all you do to help others!”

Why do you enjoy working for Suburban Imaging?
I like working for Suburban Imaging because I have the best co-workers...period. We are a team and we take care of each other in addition to our patients. It makes coming to work feel less like work.
