Radiologist Dr. Richard Carlson Recognized as Top Doctor

Congratulations once again to Richard A. Carlson, M.D., FACR on being named a Top Doctor by Mpls/St. Paul magazine.

Dr. Carlson has dedicated his professional career to advancing breast imaging, with a goal to reduce mortality from breast cancer and enhance the quality of breast care. Dr. Carlson is a devoted leader in radiology and mammography standards on state and national levels as well as a committed volunteer for the University of Minnesota Medical School.

After 39 years of service, Dr. Carlson is retiring. Throughout his career, he received many awards for his dedication to breast imaging. Dr. Carlson was also named a Top Doctor in 2014 and 2013.
