Prevent Skin Cancer with 5 Simple Tips

Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers, accounting for almost half of all cancers in the United States. Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer because it can spread (metastasis) to other parts of the body; 76,000 people will be diagnosed with melanoma in 2016. At Suburban Imaging - Coon Rapids, 1 in 10* PET scans are performed on patients with melanoma to look for recurrence or metastasis.
