COVID-19 Safety

During the COVID-19 crisis, our outpatient imaging centers are open and providing services to meet the needs of our patients and referring physicians. The safety of our patients, staff and community is our first priority, and we are taking every precaution at this time to minimize the impact of COVID-19. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take these extra precautions to provide the safest environment possible for all who visit and work at our centers. We are following recommendations from Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and have taken the following steps to keep everyone safe.

> Screening all patients and visitors, including temperature checks.

> All staff, patients, and visitors are required to wear a mask.

> Maintaining safe social distancing.

Visitor Restrictions

Each patient is allowed one essential visitor to accompany them to their appointment. An essential visitor is considered a legal guardian, medical interpreter, or someone who must be present to make healthcare decisions on behalf of the patient.

Increased Cleaning and Disinfection

In addition to routine cleaning practices after patient care, we have increased the cleaning schedule for all surfaces throughout the clinics. While we will do our best to remain on schedule, occasional appointment times may be delayed to allow staff time to thoroughly clean these areas.

About Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

The current outbreak of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was first identified in China and has spread internationally, impacting an increasing number of countries, including the United States.

“Coronaviruses” are a common family of viruses (the common cold is among them). COVID-19 can be spread via respiratory droplets, similar to the flu. It can also be spread by touching a surface that has the virus on it and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Symptoms can include cough, fever, or shortness of breath.
