For most exams, you can resume your regular activities and return to work. However, some pain management injections require you to have a driver and rest for the remainder of the day. You will be notified of your results through your referring healthcare provider's office. Depending on your referring provider's schedule, it may take several days for you to learn your results.
Reports and/or CDs can be mailed or picked up at any Suburban Imaging office, as long as we know in advance. A photo ID will be required for pick up. As a courtesy to your referring healthcare provider, we generally will release your information 5 days after your exam.

The numbing medication that is administered during your injection can sometimes cause a temporary tingling or numbing sensation in one or both of your legs. Therefore, it is recommended that you refrain from driving for the remainder of the day.
